Well, I survived the first day already. It's really not that bad. Ive already adjusted to waking up and livin' the prison life. Too easy. It's so sick.
Yesterday I saw probably 15 kids I know. It's like a high school reunion here. My buddy Ben Miles lives on the same floor as me, and my homie KJ Redder lives in the same building and is in my zone. It's like a freaking party here!
My companion is Elder Wait from Arizona. He is way chill. My other roomate's a chill too, kinda dorky, but chill.
We had our first investigators yesterday and I learned how much you have to dumb down the lessons to the basics. Biggest thing I learned, we need to get to know God's children and learn about them so we know what to teach them, and what they need to hear.
My Tagalog teacher is pretty dope. I met him a while ago at my buddy Kyle's Philippines party. He only spoke Tagalog the whole time, but I actually learned a lot. I got this down.
Aight well, gotta get back to study time. Peace! Love you guys!
